The first chapter of Fascinating Women (the documentary on Mrs. Helen Andelin and her Fascinating Womanhood movement) was excellent! It was very honorable to the late Mrs. Andelin and her late son Brian. Old newspaper clippings were shown from when the movement was taking off, information on how the book came to be, and Mrs. Andelin’s early marriage and family life were spoken about by several people who knew her. There were also photos shared of Mrs. Andelin’s early married and family life. It was just over eight-minutes long, informative, enjoyable, pleasant, and touching! The chapter ends with the words, “She said, ‘I don’t have very many talents, but the one talent that I know I have, is that I don’t mind working hard.’ ”, which speak volumes for Mrs. Andelin’s true character ♥.
Note: Longtime WW readers and students (from when this blog was Fascinating Womanhood ~ Alaska) have a surprise for them in the credits :)!
